I just have to share this.

As anyone who's had contact with me within the last month and half will tell you, I've been completely obsessed with my little side project, fleahive.com. It's kind of a cross between craigsist and ebay - geared toward people with a lot of stuff to sell - like an online yard sale (or flea market).

So, anyway, one of the ways I've been trying to get this little project to take wings, is by looking for people on craigsist who have a bunch of stuff to sell and inviting them to try fleahive as well. On one of the first times I did this, the coolest thing happened - I got a response, an enthusiastic one, from a woman named Megahn who happens to own and run www.exboyfriendjewelry.com. If you're like most people I've told about this site, you've probably already heard of it. It's obviously geared a little toward the ladies out there, but I promise this site is enjoyable for everyone. The basic idea here is that it not only gives woman a place to sell all that lavish jewelry they got when they were still with their boyfriends, but also to vent about it. It's like a combination between Opra and Ebay - but way more entertaining. Sometimes it's horribly tragic - and sometimes painfully funny. And, if you happen to be in the market for jewelry, it's also a great spot to find some deals.

I'll just grab a random quotes from her site as an example...

Links of London Sweetie Necklace & Bracelet: "The stupid man left his cell phone on and he got caught right out. He broke my heart, now I want to break his and move on."

RHINESTONE HAIR COMBS: "Scumbucket is gone!!! Time to move on....."

Affair Jewelry: "He bought this set of jewelry for the woman he was having an affair with, but since I happened to walk past him at the jewelry store buying them, he had to change his story and claim that "they were a surprise for my birthday". It wasn't until after I ended our 7 year farse of a marriage did I find out her birthday was 4 days after mine, and our birthstone is the same. I'm selling this as his buyer's remorse, resell therapy for me!"

So, not only is this site wildly popular, tragically entertaining, and a great spot to find Jewelry, Meghan has also done me a huge favor by mentioning my fleahive.com project on her site. So, if you have a minute, give it a click - it's worth it.
