InDesign Page Spreads

It always drives me crazy when InDesign groups my pages in spreads automatically. I like to edit my multi-page documents from top to bottom only - I end up doing way too much left and right scrolling otherwise. I mean, it's great if you're doing a book or magazine layout (and have a giant monitor) but, for regular documents you might try this:

File > Document Set-Up or File > New. Then uncheck "facing pages."

That's it.
